For the feature documentary, Dancing with Mom, I developed an overall design, including characters, background art, typography, and storyboards for all animated sequences. The original characters evolved from a childhood drawing that the director wanted to incorporate into the film. These flat, stick-like characters were designed to age and adapt along with the story.
